What is the opportunity?

The way Canadians bank has changed, and as we look to the next several years, regulatory initiatives continue to shape our client/advisor experiences. As such, we are looking for a talented team member to help contribute to our digital transformation focused delivering on reusable regulatory components while ensuring client and advisor impact is limited.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about delivering unparalleled user experiences; who aspires to join a high-performing team; and who wants to make an impact by leading meaningful work every day. This role is perfect for someone who is intrapreneurial self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented and possesses the ability to both think and act like an owner.

In this role, you will take on leadership of the Regulatory Roadmap for Consumer Banking, working with a cross-functional agile squad to deliver working software incrementally to our end users. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the product vision, creating alignment across the squad and external stakeholders, prioritizing value-added iterations, and evaluating the success of the deliverables once theyre in the hands of the end user. You will use data and analytics to make informed product decisions on further opportunities to support better client experiences on an ongoing basis. You will also partner closely with the Regulatory Director to devise long-term strategic opportunities that will lead to re-use of capabilities across the Journey and across the Enterprise.

What will you do?

  • Lead a cross-functional agile squad comprised of designers and developers to execute on the Regulatory roadmap

  • Partner with key stakeholders in Consumer Banking, Regulatory Strategy & Delivery, PB & CB to achieve alignment on upcoming and in-flight Epics through effective collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance existing digital product offerings with the goal of creating reusable components and experiences in order to drive value across the enterprise while allowing other Consumer Banking squads to stay focused on their roadmaps

  • Leverage data to drive prioritization and ensure the most critical initiatives and channels are the primary focus for changes

  • Monitor progress against Objectives and Key Results through the iterative delivery of working software, helping to showcase the net-benefit of the capabilities delivered to market

  • Identify opportunities for experimentation, and execute on said experiments, to drive to optimal results

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have:

  • Curiosity and the desire to investigate and understand complex systems, both internal and external

  • 3-5 years of relevant digital product management experience with background in the Agile way of working

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas of focus: Regulatory Programs, Digital Product Management, Product Ownership

  • Proven ability to drive results while effectively collaborating with key partners to do so

  • Dynamic leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and lead new initiatives with a proven track record to deliver

  • Established growth mindset and an ability to push, pivot and let go as priorities change

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tell a compelling story to garner buy-in and support

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience leveraging data to make informed decisions

Nice-to-have:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner, or related certification

  • Experience delivering regulatory products/initiatives

  • EDW/SQL/EDL data analytics experience
