S.i. Systems client is hiring (3) Senior Full Stack Developers (Java / Springboot) and React / Redux to design, develop, and test features, APIs, and integrations for a pension management software.


6 month contract to start, must be eligible for enhanced reliability clearance (living in Canada for at least 5 years). Preference for BC candidates - Remote, must work PST time zone.


Scope: Work on the Government of Canada pension modernization project


Must Have Skills:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of full stack development experience using Java (Springboot / Spring Cloud) and JavaScript (React / Redux) and RESTful web services
  • Database experience Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of web usability and accessibility standards WCAG
  • Eligible for enhanced reliability security clearance (Citizen or PR)


Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience working with pension administration or financial system software


Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and testing features, APIs, and integrations for web-based applications.
  • Maintaining high standards of software quality with good practices and habits.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting errors and performance issues that occur within our products.
  • Collaborating with other software developers in an agile team, as well as interacting with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Integrating developed code with automated test infrastructure.
  • Participating in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Other duties as assigned
