We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mortgage Origination System (MOS) Manager who will also be responsible for the Sales Reporting Analytics and Compensation Oversight for Mortgage Creditor Insurance (MCI) to join our team. This critical role will focus on managing the Mortgage Origination Systems within our distribution model through our transformation journey and beyond ensuring seamless integration for our mortgage brokers partners. The successful candidate will also contribute to strategic initiatives and maintain the integrity of sales-related reporting activities and compensation programs for the MCI team through business analysis. Position Responsibilities:

MOS Management:

  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with the Mortgage Origination System (MOS) key partners.

  • Lead and collaborate with the MOS partners through a transformation journey to drive increased sales and the mortgage broker experience.

  • Perform ad-hoc maintenance of the origination process within MOS and Manulife's internal systems.

  • Participate in on-going customer journey mapping exercises with our MOS partners.

  • Remediate any production system issues including connectivity and data transfer.

Strategic Initiatives and System Enhancements:

  • Be the voice of the MOS key partners and represent their interests in making key IT and/or Product decisions.

  • Actively participate in strategic initiatives, including the enhancement of APIs and integration with future enhancements to the broker experience.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure smooth integration and functioning of new features.

Sales Reporting and Integrity Management:

  • Create, manage, and maintain the integrity of sales-related reporting activities for all aspects of the MCI team.

  • Primary stakeholder of reporting task force to align data across multiple business units.

  • Will act as the lead contact for all reporting and data inquiries related to Mortgage Creditor Insurance.

  • Conduct daily reporting on activities from each MOS to ensure transparency and data accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies in reporting activities.

  • Sustain data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.

Support in Transformation Projects:

  • Support all other functions relevant to the transformation of mortgage creditor processes, including back-office platform and broker experience.

  • Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing and transforming mortgage origination and reporting systems.

Compensation Management

  • Oversight of compensation programs for Networks, Franchises and Brokers including timely and accurate payments.

  • Review, analyze and propose enhancements to compensation programs to ensure that Manulife remains a competitive leader in Mortgage Creditor Insurance.

  • Ensure compensation inputs, outputs are accurate through reviews and oversight.

  • Management and reconciliation of any compensation issues.

  • Work closely with the Finance and Affinity leadership teams on external and internal reporting related to the payment of compensations to both internal and external partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in operational management, project management or reporting.

  • University undergraduate degree

  • Strong experience with Mortgage Origination Systems (MOS) and related sales reporting processes.

  • Experience with API enhancements and system integration is highly desirable.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in financial reporting and understanding of compensation-related processes.

  • Proven ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little guidance.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., data analysis software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite).

Salary range is expected to be between

$68,775.00 CAD - $114,625.00 CAD
