Position Overview:
The DC Operations Planning Analyst is instrumental to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of product flowing through our network to ensure timely delivery while also hitting cost and efficiency targets. This includes ensuring resource availability, identifying bottlenecks, finding optimization opportunities, and resolving any issues that arise. DC Operations Planning Analysts partner with various stakeholders in the organization and often lead cross-functional projects and initiatives. The position entails the execution of regular planning tasks, continuous improvement initiatives, participating in supply chain strategies and providing ad hoc support to the business as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure on-time and efficient product flow
Development of plans and strategies to ensure product delivery timelines and performance metrics are met
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute plans/projects, help resolve any problems that occur
Analyze data and provide critical updates/information to stakeholders to provide visibility and facilitate decision-making
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to drive results
Provide ad hoc supply chain support to the business as required
Drive Productivity and Continuous Improvement
Develop, improve and/or maintain forecasting models and other planning tools
Create and present regular performance reports to track KPIs, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement.
Lead or actively contribute to process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma, including mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions.

Minimum Education:
University or College Degree in business or science/engineering or background in
supply chain management will be considered as a preferred qualification.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
1-3 years’ experience preferred
Minimum Leadership Experience:
Not required but considered an asset.

Other Requirements/Assets:
Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visual Basic, Word and Visio.
Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge and experience with forecasting and warehouse systems (e.g. SAP, WMS, TMS, YMS) considered an asset
Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology considered an asset
