CQSB offers English-language education in the Capitale-Nationale, Mauricie, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Thetford Mines, Chibougamau and Schefferville regions. The CQSB proudly serves an elementary, secondary, adult and vocational education population of approximately 5,000 students (8 elementary, 4 secondary, 6 K to secondary V schools and 1 adult & Vocational Education Centre).
The mission of the Central Québec School Board is to support vibrant learning communities in its schools and Centre that empower all students to receive the best possible education, to foster their social development and to prepare them to achieve their fullest potential and become contributing members of our ever-changing society.
