Job purpose
The customer service agent's main responsibilities are to be the first point of telephone contact with the company's customers, and to perform a variety of related administrative and technical tasks.
Duties and responsibilities- Take incoming and outgoing customer calls;
- Receive and process customer e-mails;
- Forward credit facility applications to loan officers;
- Open files in the computer system;
- Check the content of customer financing applications (missing documents);
- Contact the customer to obtain the necessary documents for the facility request;
- Answer customer questions and document all information relevant to the case;
- Use various communication channels (call, e-mail) to deal with customers with overdue payments and overdue accounts;
- Handle calls/emails from customers requesting payment changes, postponements, etc.
- Listen actively and determine the action to be taken;
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or related to the position.
- High school diploma;
- 6 months' experience in a call center customer service role;
- Experience in an SME (asset);
- Ability to multi-task;
- Recognized for your efficiency, resourcefulness and organizational skills;
- Recognized for your positive attitude and ideas for improvement;
- Ability to adapt quickly and easily;
- Sense of customer service;
- Ability to quickly establish a climate of trust with customers;
- Recognized for your persuasive skills and ability to close a deal;
- Known as a team player;
- Ease of going above and beyond your team's needs;
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations;
- Excellent technological skills.
- Bilingualism, both oral and written (communication in French is very important since our team is predominantly French-speaking, but communication in English is essential since we now serve a growing English-speaking clientele).
