WHO YOU ARE:
We are currently looking for a Data Base Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) and related tools.
- Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Create and manage database backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor database performance and optimize system resources.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular integrity checks.
- Schedule and perform database maintenance tasks.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to databases.
- Identify and resolve database-related issues in collaboration with teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 6+ years of working experience in a similiar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance metrics analysis.
- Solid understanding of SQL, Oracle, and database query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
