The Team
The Digital Delivery team is a dynamic, cross-functional group of 12 dedicated professionals who are passionate about modernizing the housing development system. We work collaboratively with a wide range of experts, from engineers and designers to building officials to builders, to drive innovation in the construction sector. The Role
As a Client Relations Coordinator, you will develop strong partnerships with external organizations to support the effective delivery of innovative programs and services, like the Building Permit Hub and digital construction code initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to design communication strategies that engage how local governments, First Nation governments, and housing construction industry partners see government initiatives. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact by facilitating collaboration and ensuring the ministry meets evolving client and business needs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or equivalent field and one (1) year of related experience; OR,
- Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, English, or equivalent field and two (2) years related experience; OR,
- Certificate or completed post-secondary coursework in Communications, Public Relations, English, or equivalent field and three (3) years related experience; OR,
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include the minimum number of years as listed above in each of the following:
- Experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations in a large organization.
- Experience writing and editing a variety of communications materials.
- Experience building partnerships and maintaining relationships with external partners.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience developing communication materials for First Nation governments and/or Indigenous partners.
- Experience developing visuals and graphics to communicate information using software tools like Mural and Figma.

About this Position:
This position can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
There is currently a temporary opportunity available until December 25, 2026, this temporary opportunity may become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
