The Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention (TCTBI) is seeking a part-time, contract (8 months) Project Coordinator. The Temerty Centre at CAMH offers Canada’s most advanced and extensive brain stimulation program. The Project Coordinator will report to the Clinic Manager and join a productive team investigating the use of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) for the treatment of various mental disorders. The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in developing and delivering specialized training programs focused on repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) protocols, including advanced techniques such as MRI-guided neuronavigation and deep TMS. This role requires in-depth expertise in rTMS to create and maintain comprehensive training materials, facilitate training sessions, and ensure precise and consistent protocol implementation. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be essential to deliver high quality, scientifically up-to-date training and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements. The Project Coordinator will create comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to enhance the understanding of rTMS techniques. Facilitating training sessions and workshops will be a key aspect of the role, ensuring effective delivery and consistent application of rTMS protocols and supporting the integration of training into routine clinical practice. Monitoring and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines in the execution of rTMS treatments and training programs will be a critical component of the role. This position is currently located at 1025 Queen Street West.

A Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, health sciences, or a related field is required. At least three years of experience in rTMS and neurostimulation, with a proven track record of administering treatments and providing specialized training, is necessary. Expertise in advanced rTMS protocols such as MRI-guided neuronavigation and deep TMS is essential. Experience in developing, delivering, and assessing training programs and educational resources related to neurostimulation techniques is required. A strong understanding of data management practices, particularly in clinical research and neurostimulation settings, is important. Knowledge of regulatory and ethical standards governing clinical research and neurostimulation treatments is necessary. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment is essential. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff, are required. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
