We provide an inclusive camp experience where camp personnel will be required to work with participants with different needs including children with disabilities, children with behaviour challenges, newcomers, and language barriers. You will make a difference in your community and will leave a lasting impression on the children and youth who attend the camps.

  • Malton CC (Derry Road & Goreway Drive)
  • Meadowvale CC (Glen Erin Drive & Battleford Road)
  • Mississauga Valley CC (Hurontario Street & Burnhamthorpe Road)
  • Port Credit Memorial Arena (Eglinton Avenue & Matheson Boulevard)
  • River Grove CC (Britannia Road & Creditview Road)

Employees can be assigned to any location within Mississauga or re-deployed to various locations, shifts and/or assigned a variety of job responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • The successful candidate must possess a valid Emergency or Standard First Aid with CPR B or C (Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross Society, St. John’s Ambulance or the Canadian Ski Patrol) certification (must be recognized by WSIB) by your start date (March 1, 2025). The award must be current during the employment period.
  • The successful candidate must possess a valid HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development certification by your start date (March 1, 2025).
  • Previous experience working with children an asset.
  • A Level 3 - Vulnerable Sector Check will be required of the successful candidate, as a condition of employment, at their own expense, to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted.
Additional Information

Hourly Rate:

  • The duties and responsibilities of the Camp positions are reflected in the hourly rate of pay range of $17.70 - $24.85 dependent on the specific position.
  • Staff will be paid minimum wage on an hourly basis for attending required trainings or meetings.

March Break Camps will run from March 10 - 14, 2025.
Interviews will be held beginning of December 2024.
Supervisory Staff Training will be held in early March 2025.
*Training Dates are mandatory as part of your employment*
