POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Technical Support Analyst plays a crucial role in the smooth running of IT operations in Cogir establishments across North America. This position is ideal for a problem-solving professional who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while providing top-notch support to employees. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while taking the initiative to address challenges creatively and effectively.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess the needs of different sites and recommend technological solutions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with various external partners to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and resourcefulness, is able to identify problems and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
- Document all support activities and resolutions.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of computer hardware and software.
- Provide remote IT support and coordinate with external partners when applicable.
- Remotely analyze, diagnose and resolve server, workstation, peripheral and network issues.

- Support the deployment of various projects and ensure that the objectives of these projects are achieved.
- Support user productivity by ensuring proactive maintenance of IT assets.
- College or university diploma in a field relevant to IT.
- 2 to 3 years of IT support in a multi-site environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune and Sharepoint environments.
- Understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Experience using ITIL compliant ITSM tools (e.g. Zendesk, SysAid, ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
- Working knowledge of IT internal controls and hardware troubleshooting.
- Certifications: ITIL certification and other technology certifications are an asset.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
