Introduction:

We are searching for an exceptional Sales Professional to focus on identifying and acquiring new business within the Federal Government. By prospecting, communicating value, developing long term relationships and closing deals in your territory, your success will play an integral role in building our long-term customer experiences while achieving sales revenue goals.

The successful candidate is a strategic thinker and is motivated by the challenges and excitement of building and growing a business. You have a strong work ethic and professionalism, are determined and focused and have a positive, “can-do” attitude and believe in collaboration and teamwork as the best way to do business. You have the ability to build trust and confidence and are a passionate customer advocate committed to solving problems for clients.

How you’ll make a huge impact here - and in your career:

  • Prospect your own sales pipeline, develop and expand existing account relationship and work with our team throughout full-customer journey.
  • Manage prospects from lead to close
  • Collaborate against a broad breadth of experts across Compugen to help put together solutions and solve customer challenges
  • Diagnose prospects’ pain, communicate value proposition, and come up with solutions to customers’ needs
  • Crush your quota
  • Share your wins and learnings with the team
  • Develop your sales fundamentals through best-in-class leadership

Skills and qualifications, you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of technology solution selling experience in a competitive, fast-paced customer-facing role
  • Proven initiative and a competitive drive
  • Able to think both tactically and strategically
  • Must be able to provide executive level presentations and written proposals.
  • Proficiency with selling complex solutions is imperative
  • Proven track record of establishing executive relationships (‘C’, VP and Director-level)
  • Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
  • Experience responding to and winning Government RFP’s
  • Experience selling Data Centre, Network and Security Solutions into Shared Services Canada and its partner organizations
