The location in Montréal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Administrator, Network. This job is full-time permanent.
Overview:
Reporting to the Network Delivery Manager, you will be part of a team undertaking projects/deployments of network and security technologies. As Senior Network Administrator, your responsibilities will include implementing and supporting network, voice and security infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvements.
Your challenges:
• Install, configure and maintain layer 2 and 3 switches;
• Install, configure and maintain Cisco wireless access points and controllers;
• Install, configure, secure and maintain firewalls and remote access infrastructure;
• Anticipate, mitigate and resolve network issues;
• Participate in the planning, design and support of enterprise Core, LAN, WAN, Voice and wireless infrastructure;
• Act as a technical lead for projects, participate in team meetings, project planning and requirements analysis;
• Ensure all network infrastructure is monitored and documented;
• Conduct and execute network infrastructure assessments and upgrades;
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and to improve performance/efficiency;
• Review and evaluate new information technology developments in the field of networking.

Your profile:
• Bilingual French and English
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network design, administration and support;
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience;
• Strong experience with VLANs, port channels, trunking, etc;
• Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing and LAN/WAN technologies;
• Strong experience with Cisco wireless solutions;
• Strong experience in deploying and supporting the following :
- Next generation firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco);
- VPN firewalls for Lan-to-Lan and Remote Client VPN connectivity;
- Fortinet products FortiAuthenticator, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
- Palo Alto products Panorama and Global Protect VPN
- Cisco ISE and Firewall Management Center (FMC)
- Secure vendor remote access (BeyondTrust);
• Experience with Cisco voice solutions and QoS;
• Experience with HA/DR network designs;
• In-depth experience with Cisco IOS;
• Strong working knowledge of network protocols and managing access control policies;
• Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto certifications;
• Willingness to be “on call” on a rotating basis.
