I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in packaging and based in Anjou, for a Project Engineer position.
Your Role
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple multidisciplinary engineering projects (new equipment, equipment modifications, layout planning, automation, continuous improvement, etc.), ensuring compliance with cost, quality, schedule, and safety constraints.
Your Responsibilities:
-Plan and coordinate multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
-Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions to enhance production efficiency.
-Define project specifications and follow up with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Supervise the installation and commissioning of equipment in the plant.
-Collaborate with internal teams (production, maintenance, quality) to optimize processes and equipment performance.
-Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Draft technical documentation and oversee post-implementation project follow-ups.
-Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Your Profile:
✔ Member of OIQ (Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or other relevant fields).
✔ 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
✔ Familiarity with industrial processes and production equipment.
✔ Experience in automation and continuous improvement (an asset).
✔ Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software.
