We are working on a Human Resources mat leave contract for our client. You will enjoy an excellent work environment at this boutique firm and have the guidance and support from an inspiring, experienced HR and business professional as you collaborate. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The job requires a passion for inspiring people to do their best, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, being diplomatic, approachable, analytical, and a strong communicator. The HR Generalist will be responsible for full cycle recruitment, benefits administration, employee engagement and performance management.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Full cycle recruitment.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Manages onboarding and offboarding.
  • Supports performance management and assists with performance management.
  • Organizes learning and development sessions.
  • Manages all HR administration.
  • Participates in policy development, strategy and change management projects.
  • General responsibilities and projects as assigned.

THE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist position or a combination of HR Generalist experience and Coordinator level experience.
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
CPHR designation or working towards is desired.
Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act, Worker's Compensation Act, Privacy and Human Rights legislation and the ability to effectively communicate guidelines for employees.
Prior experience in professional services is an asset, experience in a corporate office environment is required.
Strong desire to learn, be flexible to change and a desire to contribute positively to the firm culture.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate with all levels of an organization.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary range $55,000 - $80,000 depending on experience. Competitive vacation and full benefits including RSP matching.
