About The Opportunity
As a Law Clerk/Senior Legal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of tasks, from managing client files and preparing legal documents to directly interacting with clients. About The Position
In this role, you will support the Wills and Estates department by managing client files, preparing and revising legal documents, and assisting with estate administration tasks. You will work closely with a team of legal professionals, including lawyers, to ensure efficient delivery of service to clients. Your responsibilities will range from conducting legal research to preparing probate applications and other critical documents for estate management.
The Requirements
• Law Clerk certification from a recognized college or university.
• 5-7 years of experience in Wills and Estates preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent reading comprehension.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team setting.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with Clio and NetDocs is a plus.
Compensation
• Salary $75,000 - $85,000 dependent on experience.
• Must be willing to come onsite to downtown Toronto 5 days per week.
