IDS Coordinator

Job Summary:

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in developing 3D civil models (Road, Bridge, Earthworks, Utilities, etc.) from 2D drawings and technical specifications
• Produce drawings based on BIM model
• Support quantity take-offs to aid estimating
• Support model-related project coordination
• Support conducting clash detections
• Support coordinating 3D laser scans/point cloud models

Qualifications

• Some familiarity in Autodesk Civil 3D. Exposure to Trimble Business Center, Revit parametric modeling, and Navisworks is a plus
• Educational background in civil or structural engineering, survey, geomatics, with BIM technology/animation as a plus
• Interest or basic experience in civil construction design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a team environment, self-motivated, and eager to learn and take on new challenges
