Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is a key member of the Operations Dimension Solutions team. The primary role of the analyst is to support Simcorp Dimension with respect to: day to day production activities, enhancing user experience and working on various initiatives to drive automation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of assets in the investment book of record by performing daily and monthly controls

  • Strong organization skills to manage, portfolio onboarding, portfolio calculations and various other task to ensure stakeholders needs are met

  • Manage and resolve issues in error logs, while demonstrating proper change management controls

  • Assist with root cause analysis, process improvement, upgrade testing and system enhancement

  • Exceptional at collaborating with business partners to understand business requirements and challenges, communicate solutions and keeping our stakeholders up to date with progress

  • Assist with Security Master File review and updates to ensure data accuracy

  • Other duties assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant undergraduate education specializing in Business, Finance and Economics or equivalent work experience in Securities Operation

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think through problems, assess a variety of factors, and recommend solutions

  • Strong knowledge of investment asset and securities lifecycle events

  • Must be a team player and a self-starter

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills

  • Capable of providing timely production support to ensure period closure deadlines are met

  • Ability to readily adapt to rapidly changing environments and deal with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounting knowledge would be helpful

  • Experience with using SimCorp Dimension

  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with large data

  • Expert User of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power BI

Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$58,275.00 CAD - $97,125.00 CAD
