Position Responsibilities:

As an external Group Benefit Account Executive - Client Manager (51+ life employer groups) the successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Expanding sales growth and advisor relationships in the Eastern group benefits market.
  • Working with the Advisor and our Underwriting/Service teams to acquire new clients
  • Optimizing delivery of value-added products and services;
  • Promoting Manulife Financial group insurance products and services;

The ideal candidate has a passion for winning and being part of a dynamic and constantly evolving sales environment. They can work autonomously but also able to collaborate as part of a larger sales team.

Manulife Account Executives are rewarded with a competitive compensation model which includes base salary plus variable compensation, share ownership, pension, and flex benefits.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (in business or related field)
  • Ideally, 3-5 years Group Benefits sales experience and CEBS - GBA Designation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including proficiency at making and holding presentations.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license

Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
