Learning, Talent and Development System Enablement Lead

Reporting to VP of Employee Experience Design, your mission will be to deliver innovative technology solutions across our Talent and Development CoE in alignment with the broader HR strategy. You partner with the Employee Experience Delivery team, the Group Functional IT team and business stakeholders to support technology projects and drive continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as an Enablement Lead for learning, development and talent systems, ensuring alignment with the Talent and Development Center of Excellence.
  • Provide technical consultative support and strong business analysis to design and implement strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business requirements, develop, test, and deploy solutions that enhance learning and talent management.
  • Facilitate privacy impact assessments, risk reviews and participate in vendor release activities, including assessing feature impact and assisting with testing.
  • Influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive project success.
  • Understanding of GenAI technologies, including model development, API integration, and deployment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform L&D technology strategies and measure the effectiveness of technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the latest L&D technologies and platforms to create scalable and personalized learning experiences
  • Ability to anticipate future skill requirements and develop technology strategies to enable the L&D strategy around upskilling and reskilling
  • Leading initiatives that leverage GenAI to create innovative learning solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to align L&D initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Staying agile and responsive to the rapidly changing technological landscape, HR industry trends and best practices to continuously improve learning and talent systems.
  • Utilize agile methodologies and work within self-managed technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in the quarterly and yearly HR Technology Book of Work planning efforts in partnership with HR Strategy and the Center of Excellence. You will help influence the technology roadmap by understanding and articulating business needs to drive and evaluate/set roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with the Delivery Solutions team to develop strategic solutions to enable the strategy across COEs and HR teams.
  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert across Talent Management, Performance Enablement, Development and Culture domains.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience with Learning and Talent Management technologies in global, large-scale initiatives, across learning and talent systems such as Workday, EdCast, Cornerstone, and talent intelligence tools.
    • Proven experience supporting the system development lifecycle, including process re-engineering and technology implementations
    • Strong understanding of Learning and Talent Management processes and technologies, particularly Workday, EdCast, Cornerstone, etc.
    • Excellent communication, consultative and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and drive results.
    • Prior experience working on agile or self-managed technology teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Human Centered Design Certification, CHRP/CHRL, or PMP Certification is an asset.
    • Experience in insurance, financial, or highly regulated environments, with global experience preferred.

    Salary range is expected to be between

    $84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
