This position is passionate about developing and driving digital thought leadership vehicles, storytelling franchises and custom content opportunities that support all business lines within Canada Segment and help tell the wider “Why Manulife” story. Key responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to create high-impact, best-in-class content packages that drive brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and generate business leads
  • Ideate and create distinctive content franchises that highlight our expertise, showcase our voice and build brand love.
  • Work with SEO team, consumer research/insights team, and external partners to identify thought leadership opportunities and industry trends to help guide content creation.
  • Edit content for packages / thought leadership using editorial best practices and ensuring consistent brand tone and voice
  • Evaluate and recommends paid content opportunities, and oversees delivery of outputs
  • Obsess about audiences, what they want and need from content, and the best ways to reach them

Capabilities / Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Financial and Insurance space
  • Ability to write and edit short, medium and long-form multi-media content under tight deadlines
  • Experience analyzing web traffic metrics and using data to guide planning
  • Experience developing content franchises in support of business priorities, including vehicles for thought leadership
  • Experience working with media brands to develop paid content
  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and developing efficient workflow processes
  • Excellent consulting, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative, works well with cross-functional partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in editorial, brand content or agency environment, including creating content for B2B and B2C audiences

Salary range is expected to be between

$60,000.00 CAD - $100,000.00 CAD
