Purpose

Our Red Chris operation is now recruiting for the position of Project Administrator with a competitive base salary between $63,000 to $68,000 dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications. The Project Administrator will play a key role in supporting the project management team by handling a variety of administrative tasks. This position involves overseeing project documentation, coordinating schedules, managing communication between stakeholders, and assisting with project tracking. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that the project runs smoothly and stays on track.

Essential Duties
  • Maintain a document management/control system and support responsible personnel in keeping documents for their respective areas up to date.
  • Organize and document project meetings and associated action registers.
  • Support contractor kickoff/mobilization and the implementation of the contractor management standard.
  • Assist in managing invoices, processing payments, and supporting budget forecasting.
  • Provide general support for procurement and tender processes in collaboration with Project Engineers.
  • Maintain travel schedules, timesheets, and training records for department personnel.
  • Coordinate lodging and travel for personnel and subcontractors.
  • Maintain inventory of key supplies and proactively restock critical items.
  • Provide general administrative support to the construction leadership team.
Training & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in administrative roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction administration; strong knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and document management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.
  • SAP proficiency essential.
