Richmond School District operates 38 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 21,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3500 dedicated staff.
The Richmond School District is now accepting applications for elementary teachers and TTOC's.
Required Qualifications include:
Successful completion of a Bachelor of Education;
Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experience;
Certified or eligible for certification with the Ministry of Education - Teacher Regulation Branch;
Registration with Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).
Application Portfolios must include the following documentation:
Cover letter
Resume
Final Practicum reports from both Faculty and School Associates
Academic Transcripts
Recent teaching evaluation within the past 8 years from your administrator (for experienced teachers)
Compensation:
Salary as per Teacher's Collective Agreement current salary range is $57,984.00 to $107,490.00 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package.
