Accounting Analyst with Cash & Bank Reconciliation Experience

Looking for an Accounting/Financial analyst with 3-5 years of experience and working knowledge of SAP Fi.

Qualifications/Competencies Required:

• University degree or post secondary diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years' experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis roles.
• Solid analytical, organizational and problems solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze accounting and business processes.
• Excellent PC skills in Excel.

Primary duties/Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Units, Treasury, Account receivables and Billing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial results and cash accounts.
• Prepare/review the monthly reporting including bank reconciliations and G/L accounts.
• Provide crisp, meaningful explanations/analysis of all unreconciled transactions outstanding for each Bank and G/L accounts.
• Ensure month end deadlines and reporting quality standards are met, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Understand end to end process to best support daily tasks.
• Leverage technology where feasible to reduce reliance on manual financial/reporting processes.
• Support Business Units and other departments in any issues related to Cash transactions.
• Ensure financial governance controls are adhered to including quality assurance and reconciliation.
