Hybrid - Intermediate / Senior Information Management Delivery Lead to be Go Live Captain for all clinical systems at Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopmen

S.i. Systems enterprise health authority client has multiple hospitals under redevelopment. Funding is approved through to 2030. Fantastic opportunity for long term (2 year contracts + renewals), and full time hours engagement (due to ability to be allocated across multiple hospitals).

They are seeking a Hybrid - Intermediate / Senior Information Management Delivery Lead to be Go Live Captain for all clinical systems at Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment

Hybrid means some weeks no onsite work, but ability to be onsite with 1 day notice

LOCAL Metro Vancouver candidates strongly preferred as all travel is at your own expense

6 - 8 weeks of onsite, intensive work during go live in May 2025

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 5 - 10 years experience (open to different seniority levels) in IT projects
• Ability to be onsite at Royal Columbian Hospital (New Westminster) at short notice, and daily during intensive go-live periods, at your own expense
• 3+ years experience in Canadian public healthcare mandatory, experience in Acute care settings (hospitals) and system go-lives
• Experience being the single point of contact for a key project, working with range of stakeholders - facilities, infrastructure, clinical systems, clinicians
• Comfortable in a first responder environment (hospital emergency rooms with police, patients with mental health issues, drug use, patients in critical pain and discomfort, etc).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As the Go Live Captain, You'll be the single point of contact for the IM portfolio (clinical applications and other systems (eg. nurse badges, Vocera)
• Manage all communications, key milestones, changes
• Constantly triage and reassess priorities
• You have a structured, concise approach to talking to stakeholders.

Sample problems:

Vocera wireless blank spots on hospital L10 - communicate time to resolve, communicate to relevant parties.

Level 2 critical patient management system is delayed due to vendor hiccups. New version will be ready but 3 days after go-live.
