Int. Calypso Systems Analyst

Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension or conversion to FT)

Location: Downtown Toronto [hybrid schedule in office 1 day a week; collaborative day with some flexibility]


Our business unit supports all project delivery activities for Capital Markets Middle Office and Derivative Operations teams for both systems and process improvements. The incumbent will work with multiple Capital Markets and technology business partner from middle and back offices to support several derivative product groups throughout. They will globally support the development and implementation of strategic directives, new business opportunities, product initiatives, and service developments for the Derivative Operations areas of the business. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work independently and must have hands on experience with Calypso configuration.


Must Have Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience in technical support, system configuration, or application development
  • Hands-on experience with Calypso system configuration and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in the Product Operations or Trading Products areas of Capital markets
  • Experience in test coordination, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect management
  • Experience with incident resolution and production support


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and hands-on configuration of the Calypso platform
  • Troubleshoot system issues, debug errors, and optimize performance
  • Assist in the implementation of system enhancements and upgrades
  • Work with developers to configure and maintain APIs, integrations, and data flows
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
  • Support testing activities by setting up test environments and validating configurations
  • Participate in incident management and resolution for system-related issues
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, troubleshooting guides, and test cases
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure system stability, optimal performance, and seamless test execution
