Intermediate Instructional Designer/Technical Writer

Hiring Manager: Senior Manager, Digital Learning

Location Address: Hybrid 4 times per month - 44 King Street W 13th Floor

Contract Duration: 6 months Possible extension depending on the scope of the project or performance

Responsibilities:

Business group: Global Learning & Development

Responsible for designing/developing digital learning content based on established adult learning principles and frameworks and in alignment with brand and accessibility standards. This role monitors digital learning and program effectiveness, provides end-user support, maintains learning assets and troubleshoots as required.

Candidate Value Proposition: This is a high-visibility team working on one of the biggest projects within the Canadian Bank. The candidate will get more exposure to the Articulate Storyline / Articulate 360 tool.

• Design and develop digital learning assets (e-learning courses & training videos) as per digital learning standards and accessibility guidelines to help employees maintain or improve job skills.

• Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge

• Assess performance expectations to design and develop to a customized digital learning solution

• Develop digital learning programs for employees across our global network.

Must Have Skills:

• 3 years of experience in instructional design (Digital learning)

• 3 years of experience working with Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline, RISE), Vyond, and Adobe Creative Cloud

• 3 years of experience in storyboarding and translating the storyboard into digital learning assets (e-learning or training videos) please provide links to the portfolios.

• Knowledge of adult learning theories and practices

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Spanish language skills an asset

• Knowledge of Lectora Online and Desktop

•Technical documentation or writing experience is an asset

Education:

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Business or Digital Communications or pursuing education in a related field
