S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Data Architect to share and execute the Enterprise Data Program, ensuring alignment between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems- VOR#A0003

1 year contract to start. Possibility to renew for a further 2 years.

Must Haves:

• Strong expertise in data architecture design integrating OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) systems.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, data modeling, and real-time data streaming solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions for data storage, analytics, and processing.
• Familiarity with data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable architecture solutions.
• Expertise in data governance frameworks, ensuring data security, compliance, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of master data management (MDM) principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise-wide data integration, aligning OT (sensors) with IT (ERP, CRM).
• Understanding predictive analytics, machine learning, and real-time decision-making support.
• Proficiency in data pipeline optimization for secure and efficient data transfer.
• Familiarity with TOGAF enterprise architecture framework
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols in data architecture (RBAC, encryption, auditing).
• Strong experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT) and data connectivity across diverse systems.

The client is embarking on a data transformation journey through the 3-year Enterprise Data Program to transform how they collect, manage, transform and analyze data, to inform our business decisions.

This Data Architect will play a critical role in shaping and executing the Enterprise Data Program, ensuring alignment between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

• Unify Data Across OT and IT: Data Architect will ensure that data from operational sources (e.g., vessels, sensors) and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) are integrated into a unified architecture.
• Enable Real-Time Analytics: With increasing reliance on predictive analytics for operations (e.g., predictive maintenance), a cohesive data architecture is needed to enable real-time decision-making.
• Drive Governance Compliance: Data Architect ensures data architecture complies with governance policies, enhancing data quality, security, and accessibility.
• Support Scalability: Rapid growth in data volumes requires scalable architecture to manage the inflow of operational and business data effectively.
• Ensure Efficient Data Flow: Data Architect is responsible for optimizing data pipelines to ensure efficient, timely, and secure data transfer between OT and IT systems.
