Description
Senior Java (SpringBoot) and JavaScript (Angular) Developer/Technical Lead to work on commercial banking modernization program for Tier 1 financial institution.
This is a hybrid role - onsite in downtown Toronto 3x/week.
Overview:
As the Sr. Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Java applications for Commercial Banking payments platform.
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java development
- 5+ years of Angular Development experience
- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and SpringBoot
- Experience working on Payment or Wire Transfer projects is a must
- Experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade Java applications
- Experience with web services (REST, SOAP), APIs, and microservices
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
Nice to Have:
- Previous tech/team leading experience preferred
