Description
Our client is seeking a Senior (PMP) Project Manager to lead various IT projects including cloud integrations and CRM replacements projects within the public sector. (RFR-0660)
Must Have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification (must provide a valid certificate).
- Demonstrated experience managing complex Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) implementation projects in an IT environment, including projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cloud integrations with public-facing components.
- Public sector experience
- Ability to work 100% onsite at a Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Nice to Have
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, navigate governance, conduct team meetings, and engage with Executive Steering Committees.
- Experience managing at least two large CRM projects with cloud integrations, defined as projects with a budget of at least $500,000.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and CMDB.
- Certification as an organizational change management practitioner (asset, must provide proof of certification).
Description:
The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale IT implementation projects for the client, including the Saskatchewan Housing Business Transformation Project and the Relationship System Modernization Project. These initiatives involve modernizing legacy systems, integrating new technologies, and managing organizational change. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, external vendors, and government partners to deliver solutions that enhance public-facing services and optimize business operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Manage project documentation, including plans, budgets, schedules, and status reports.
- Lead project teams, coordinate resources, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and government departments to align project goals with business needs.
- Integrate new systems and processes into existing IT and infrastructure environments.
- Facilitate organizational change management and promote user adoption of new systems.
- Ensure adherence to PMI standards and methodologies within the PMO.
