Position Type: 16-Month Contract

Location: Edmonton or Calgary, AB (Hybrid/Remote)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to oversee the development and execution of an OCM strategy for our Programs and Operational Technology projects. This role is critical to ensuring successful adoption and integration of new technologies within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Organizational Change Management plan tailored to the ADMS program and related initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify impacts and engagement strategies.
• Design and implement communication plans to support awareness and readiness for project adoption.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to ensure stakeholders are equipped to use new tools and processes.
• Monitor and evaluate change adoption, providing reports and metrics on the effectiveness of OCM initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams to align OCM activities with project milestones.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to organizational resistance or readiness.
• Work closely with leaders across departments to embed changes in workflows and processes.

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years in Organizational Change Management for large-scale technology deployment projects.
• Electric utilities sector and operational technology systems.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive OCM plans.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) or similar operational technologies.
• Certification in OCM practices, such as Prosci Change Management Certification.
• Background in managing change in regulatory or safety-critical industries.
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
