Our FinTech Client is in need of a Sr. Product Manager specializing in Wire Payments

Must Have:

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager specializing in Payments
• Wires experience - wire transfer products and knowledge of wire transfer systems and protocols.
• Developing product strategies and managing product lifecycles.
• 3+ years experience with Payments Canada rules, regulations, and standards

Key Responsibilities

The Client is undergoing a payments modernization initiative and requires an experienced product manager to oversee the Wires payment product. This role will focus on managing and enhancing wire transfer services, ensuring compliance with Payments Canada regulations, and delivering secure, reliable, and customer-centric solutions. The Product Manager - Wires will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the client's overall strategy.

Product Strategy & Development:

• Develop and communicate the Wires product strategy to key stakeholders.
• Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and new product offerings based on customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Ensure that the product strategy aligns with the client's modernization initiatives and compliance standards.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all wire transfer processes comply with Payments Canada rules and regulations, as well as internal compliance policies.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with wire payments.

Product Roadmap & Lifecycle Management:

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for wire transfer services, including release scope and prioritization.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Work closely with technology partners and vendors to deliver updates, fixes, and new features.

Market Analysis & Pricing:

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and trends in wire payments.
• Develop business cases and pricing strategies for new and existing wire payment services.

Operational Efficiency:

• Work with operations and IT teams to optimize wire transfer processing, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
