What You’ll Do

  • This position is responsible for researching, analyzing, and collaborating in the design, development, and direction of total rewards programs to support the organization’s objectives for their respective geography.

  • Manages global strategies and provides consulting and analytical services on subjects such as job evaluation and compensation benchmarking

  • Leads and participates in the planning, implementation, and communication of annual compensation processes including salary administration based on market pricing/benchmarking

  • Conducts or participates in research on compensation and Benefits practices and trends to analyze and identify the scope of improvement to compensation programs and models

  • Be influential in collaboration with Procurement on aspects and negotiations, acting in the best interest of the organization acting as a representative for business requirements and vendor relations

  • Works with various stakeholders to identify & improve total rewards offerings within the company

  • Partner with stakeholders to educate, create policy and processes, as well as review, of salary adjustment and promotion recommendations for internal client groups

  • Conduct Pay Equity analysis and develop communication strategies to review and socialize findings with key stakeholders

  • Partner with Finance and P&C to assess, develop, implement, communicate, and continuously improve, compensation-related processes ensuring consistent interpretation and administration of compensation programs

Experience You’ll Bring

  • CPP, CEBS - GBA Certification would be an asset

  • Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience (5-8 plus yrs.)

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with proven ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups. Strong numeric, data manipulation, analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in dealing proactively with all levels of internal and external management. This includes a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities to intercultural personal and corporate dynamics.

  • Self-starter attitude with a high degree of initiative and a positive mindset.

  • Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills, and you like to share knowledge with others.
