Sturgeon School Division is currently recruiting for a Part -Time Temporary Grade 4 Math and Strategies Teacher to join the team at Landing Trail School.

Landing Trail School, located in Gibbons, has a student population of approximately 400 students, with approximately 80 students accessing non-denominational Christian faith based (LOGOS) programming. From preschool to grade 4, Landing Trail School offers dynamic and well-rounded programming to support and nurture students' development to prepare them for a bright future.

Assignment: 0.8 FTE; Part-Time Temporary Grade 4 Math and Strategies Teacher

Qualifications:

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Training and background teaching at the Elementary level

Experience teaching differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs

Ability to create a positive classroom environment as part of a safe and caring school

Ability to work in a collaborative school team environment

Maintain and create positive home-school relations

Contribute to the school and community

First Aid and TCI training (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) would be an asset
