Description
Ophthalmologist is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Medical Receptionist, who possesses Oscar EMR experience, to provide exceptional patient care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will poses:
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• medical reception experience (Ophthalmology preferred)
• the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted, collaborative environment
• be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Oscar EMR Oscar/Quadramed an asset
Some of the tasks related to this role are:
• actively listen to patient needs and direct their inquiries appropriately, both on the phone and in person
• greet patients (60+) in a friendly and professional manner; check-in patients and book future/referral appointments
• pick-up/return phone messages efficiently
• book photography and visual fields and any other testing appointments
This opportunity is a permanent, part-time position; 2 days per week that can be flexible Monday through Friday.
