They are currently in search of a Commercial Insurance Director to build and maintain long term relationship with insurance companies and to lead commercial lines brokering team as a part of senior management.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This Commercial Lines Insurance Director oversees daily operations, providing strategic leadership to the department while ensuring exceptional service and support for the sales team. This role involves mentoring staffs, conducting performance reviews, and presenting at meetings to highlight how the marketing team can enhance client relationships and drive sales success.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of commercial lines brokers (marketers).
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s commercial insurance portfolio and increase market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 3 RIBO
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Commercial Insurance
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and drive strategic initiatives
• CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset

COMPENSATION

• Base salary between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on years of relevant experience + annual bonus up to $40,000
