Job Summary

The Team

The Public Information team is dedicated to making complex provincial tax information clear and accessible, helping citizens meet their obligations and access tax credits or benefits. As part of this team, you'll work in an inclusive environment that values collaboration and camaraderie, where every member's input is appreciated.

The Role

As the UX Design Team Lead, you'll guide a team of content strategists to create user-friendly digital content for various tax and benefit programs, ensuring citizens have clear, accessible information. Your leadership will be key in driving high-quality services through user research, data analysis, and policy interpretation. With your curiosity and strategic thinking, you'll address both current and future needs while fostering strong client relationships to deliver seamless and effective user experiences.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in User Experience Design, Service Design, Content Strategy, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Psychology or Anthropology.
  • An equivalent combination of related experience, education or training may be considered.
  • One (1) year experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
  • Three (3) years experience using user experience design methods (design research, strategy development) to plan and build web properties.
  • Experience in information architecture, content strategy, plain language principles, digital accessibility standards, planning and conducting user experience research, and web development and/or interaction design.
