Description
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a full time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst to support work within the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre, specifically with pharmacological interventions for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is the first research and education centre in Canada dedicated to improving care for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The Centre’s efforts are organized around four pillars - research excellence, clinical innovation, education and training, and knowledge exchange. Currently, the centre is actively involved in two clinical trials: one exploring nabilone (a medication) for severe behavioral problems in adults with developmental disabilities, and another investigating psilocybin-assisted therapy for autistic adults with treatment-resistant depression.
In this role, tasks include, but are not limited to:

The successful candidate must have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related degree combined with a minimum of 1-years of relevant clinical research experience.
