About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic PMO Director to lead their Project Management Office (PMO), driving the successful execution of Information Technology (IT), Network Infrastructure, SaaS Implementations, and Telecommunications projects. This role requires a strategic thought leader with a hands-on approach, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can roll up their sleeves when needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing best-in-class project governance, methodologies, and risk management practices while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. PMO Leadership & Governance
•    Establish and lead the PMO function to drive standardization, best practices, and execution excellence across all IT and network infrastructure projects.
•    Develop and implement project management methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry standards, and best practices.
•    Drive the creation of a Center of Excellence (CoE) for project tools, systems, and methodologies.
2. IT & Network Infrastructure Project Oversight
•    Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of network infrastructure projects, including analog-to-VOIP transformations.
•    Manage SaaS implementation projects, including Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise platforms, ensuring smooth integration and adoption.
•    Lead enterprise-wide IT transformation initiatives, ensuring they align with business needs.
3. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
•    Develop and implement change management strategies to drive adoption and minimize resistance.
•    Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights into project roadmaps, risks, and mitigations.
•    Foster strong collaboration between IT, operations, finance, and other key stakeholders.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
•    Implement a centralized risk model for projects, leveraging SharePoint and Power BI for real-time risk tracking and mitigation.
•    Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance requirements for all projects.
5. Financial Management & Performance Tracking
•    Manage project financials, ensuring budgetary control, cost tracking, and spend-to-burn ratio monitoring.
•    Utilize data-driven insights via Power BI dashboards to enhance decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
•    10+ years of experience in Project Management, with at least 5 years in a Program Management capacity for technology projects.
•    PMI certification (PMP) preferred; Agile exposure is a plus.
•    Proven experience in IT PMO leadership, network infrastructure projects, and SaaS implementations.
•    Strong understanding of telecommunications transformations, including VOIP implementations.
•    Expertise in financial management, risk assessment, and reporting tools (Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
•    Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills—a go-getter who drives results and inspires teams.
•    Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence key stakeholders.
