We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our North Vancouver client. The Administrative Assistant role supports the property teams and manages client information, documents, and overall admin duties for this busy office. ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Located in North Vancouver, my client is a leading real estate firm with a diverse portfolio encompassing commercial properties, and multifamily units across North America.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Administrative Assistant will support the various property teams and ensure the client database is maintained. Working directly with tenants, you’ll answer calls and questions, manage correspondence, insurance certificate verification and assist with invoicing. The Administrative Assistant must be able to work independently and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities. Event coordination and special projects are also coordinated by the administrative assistant.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Acts as the main point of contact for clients, and internal and external employees.
Supports the property teams with all administrative tasks.
Updates and maintains database.
Data entry, invoicing and accounts payable - coding.
Drafts correspondence.
Tracks insurance certificates.
Updates and distributes weekly reports.
Coordinates client events.
Updates emergency procedure manuals, contact lists, and general documents.

THE REQUIREMENTS

1+ year of experience in a corporate office environment.
Prior experience in a reception or administration role is preferred.
Industry experience is an asset.
Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proven history of following through and meeting deadlines and strong follow-up abilities.
Our client requires a clear background check, references and clean drivers abstract.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary $45,000 - $55,000. 3 weeks vacation to start. Competitive medical and dental. Wellness and RSP matching.
