Description
We are looking for a Human Resources Advisor for our Vancouver client. You’ll join an organization known for their collaborative, fast-paced environment. The HR Manager will lead all HR initiatives and focus on aligning HR with the organization’s strategic growth plans.

About The Opportunity
The Human Resources Advisor will work with leadership and focus on all day-to-day HR matters in addition to special projects. Guiding culture and engagement, managing the employee life cycle and policy development are all areas of focus.
About The Position
- Employee engagement.
- Manages day to day HR support.
- Supports the performance management program.
- Talent acquisition and partnership relationships.
- Special projects, research and reporting that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensures HR policies are up-to-date, in compliance and accessible.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures.
- Guides and advises leadership on HR initiatives and supports through employee relations and conflict.
- Compensation and benefits administration.
The Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources.
- CPHR is desired.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role.
- Prior experience developing HR policies and procedures.
- Experience in a standalone HR role is an asset.
- Prior experience managing the employee lifecycle.
- Employee handbook creation is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of employment standards.
Compensation
- Annual salary range $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience.
- Competitive benefits program.
- 3 weeks vacation to start.
- Potential for hybrid 4 days in office, and 1 for home based on performance after probation.
