Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Asset Protection Support Services, the incumbent (1 year contract) will be responsible for working in a dynamic fast paced environment in collaboration with Asset Protection resources and business partners. The incumbent will provide support for a variety of Asset Protection training and compliance programs and initiatives as well as other duties as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration, maintenance, support, expertise, functional guidance for all Asset Protection compliance training and sign-offs

  • Ensure all Asset Protection colleagues receive and have access to the appropriate Academy courses.

  • Continuously explore and evaluate innovative ideas and approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our Asset Protection Academy course roll outs

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities, and completion for compliance purposes

  • Assist in the development and revision of training materials, including manuals, presentations or online modules to support effective learning

  • Support in the role out and administration of Asset Protection programs such as Ask for Angela, UAPP uniform cleaning program, social media initiatives.

  • Ensure all Asset Protection Representatives are compliant with applicable security guard regulations and guidelines by maintaining oversight of their security license status, verifying validity, and facilitating necessary renewals or updates as required

  • Other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Asset Protection/Loss Prevention experience or equivalent in-store retail experience is an asset

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships

  • Ability to foster partnerships with all business units and vendors

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Pays attention to detail and communicates well in writing by composing clear documents

  • Communicate and interact effectively with different levels of management both verbal and written

  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with the commitment to see timelines and projects through to the end

  • Solutions-based individual who sees potential barriers as an opportunity, not a roadblock

  • Well organized, adaptable to change and can quickly adjust to competing priorities

  • Post-secondary education or experience equivalent related to Asset Protection is an asset

  • Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
