Our Digitization and Automation Team within Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, team-oriented Business Analyst who has a passion for solving problems, gathering requirements, and finding creative solutions while always having the customer at the forefront of their thinking. This role will focus on automation activities, working closely with technical team members in the creation of various solutions including software robots, internal websites, and low-code platforms.

Applicants require background and experience in analytical roles, a proven ability to work closely with various stakeholders, and a strong desire to learn what is needed to properly support the business.

This is a Hybrid opportunity in our Toronto Head Office where you will come into the office Tues, Wed, Thurs and can work from home on Mon and Fri.

Still Interested? Here’s what you’ll be doing on our Agile Scrum team…

  • Gathering requirements for automation initiatives including current/future state mapping and gap analysis.
  • Creating UAT strategies and test plans, sometimes executing them and at other times facilitating their execution.
  • Initiating, leading and supporting automation work.
  • Working directly with technical team members, building and enhancing low-code solutions as well as supporting them.
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Building solutions with best practices in mind (scalable solutions with solid architecture using best demonstrated practices, following Manulife’s standards).

Strong Assets

  • Working knowledge of the products and systems in the Manulife Investment Management business.
  • Previous Business Analyst experience.
  • Previous experience working with low-code tools.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile work environment.
  • Experience with the JIRA platform.

Salary range is expected to be between

$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
