Project Manager - Compliance Technology and Innovation

This position is in the Law, Compliance & Government Relations (LCG) function (1,300+ employees globally) and reports to the AVP, Compliance Technology and Innovation. The Technology and Innovation team is responsible for global technology initiatives - North America, Europe, Asia - and has cross-functional responsibilities/global oversight of the various initiatives within the function’s teams.

The successful candidate will join a results driven team aligned with the enterprise’s values and objectives. This role is particularly focused on the Innovation and Implementation of various initiatives, including project management, change management, and continuous improvement efforts across the function. This role coordinates various projects of moderate and large scope and complexity through all phases of initiation, development and implementation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a skilled communicator with the ability to make complex concepts simple and engaging for various audiences.

This is a hybrid position with three days in office per week.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, plans and best practices to manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence

  • Track project progress and identify and mitigate risks

  • Create presentation decks (ppt) with clear and concise language and easy to interpret info

  • Partner, coordinate, collaborate and communicate with team members, stakeholders and leaders to ensure that project goals and objectives are met

  • Provide proactive recommendations on tools and processes to drive enhancements

  • Present to large audiences, in trainings, town halls, summits

  • Design and deliver change management solutions and programs, including, conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders

  • Influencing and inspiring others to embrace a culture of continuous improvement and move toward a common vision and goal

  • Navigate the complexities of cross-functional, global and/or diverse teams and engagements

  • Support the development and presentation of business cases for initiatives and any associated funding asks

  • Regular progress reporting to key stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI in achieving function’s goals and objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree from reputable university.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Project management.

  • Ability to manage and work to the expectations of stakeholders and to work independently as well collaboratively in a dynamic group.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for varying audiences.

  • An aptitude for strategic, critical, and analytical thinking and effective conceptual, diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of a large-scale transformation strategic plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps and to create solutions where blueprints may not exist.

  • Receptive and adaptive to an evolving, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Structures problems and presents complex findings in a clear, concise, and decision-driven manner.

  • Be a champion of collaboration, by proactively reaching out and working with relevant stakeholders to mobilize teams and bring all partners together through open dialogues to drive towards a common goal/approach.

  • Make complex concepts simple and engaging for various audiences.

  • Actively embraces change efforts and acts as a change agent to build awareness and vision.

  • Ability to quickly shift priorities.

  • Success at leading cross-functional workshops/training events.

  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership decision making, facilitating problem solving, and mediating conflict.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work, work autonomously and be proactive with communications and task prioritization.

  • PMP certification, preferred, in progress/willingness to complete, also considered.

  • Exposure to agile methodology, preferred.

  • Strategic orientation - ability to plan over a long term, taking advantage of business needs and other opportunities that may present themselves, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the function.

  • Strong tactical and day-to-day prioritization in support of longer-term strategic priorities.

  • Strong planning, organization, and implementation skills that deliver quality outcomes and results based on established priorities.

  • Self-directed motivation, accountability and ability to independently advance efforts on a timely basis with limited direction and supervision.

  • Proven knowledge of business operations, communications, change enablement/management and project lifecycles.

  • Professional, solution-oriented and collaborative team player.

  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts/processes.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
