Senior Application Project Manager working on a legacy project

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Application Project Manager

Duration - 6 months

Work Mode - Hybrid in downtown Toronto

Responsibilities:

• Working with internal stakeholder teams to ensure applications are meeting the standards and controls.
• Ensuring all applications are compliant with ongoing audits and protecting against future audits.
• Completing assessments and triage as they relate to the technology at hand - these can include the following:
• Cloud Assessment
• Privacy Impact Assessment
• Data Assessment
• Architecture Reviews
• Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation
• Technology Asset Risk Assessment (TARA) & Control Gap Assessment (CGA)
• Finding Remediation/Risk Acceptance
• TDAR Production Checklist
• Access Management
• Working with procurement team to ensure the uplifting of the legacy Cowen contracts to bank paper is completed.
• Setting up application management with structure for long-term success.
• Working with FTE team to set up a strategic structure for managing application portfolio.
• Working with project teams and leadership to ensure they are always up to date on our progress.
• Support parallel application management activities for the broader technology portfolio.
• Document required materials and documentation that feed assessments and reviews - requirements, architecture, data flow, etc.
• Prepare support documentation for new applications for end-users and administrators.

Must Haves:

• Cloud Security & Compliance
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) - Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and Access Management.
• Risk & Compliance Assessments - Strong knowledge of Technology Asset Risk Assessment (TARA), Control Gap Assessment (CGA), and audit compliance processes.
• Enterprise Architecture & Application Security - Experience conducting Architecture Reviews, Data Assessments, and Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Application Portfolio Management - Familiarity with application lifecycle management, setting up governance structures, and ensuring long-term strategic alignment.
• Having familiarity with our client specific processes would be a major value add to avoid extensive ramp up period. Would settle for competitor bank experience, but client specific is preference.
