Our client is looking for a Senior Business Improvement Specialist to optimize internal processes and execute process improvement initiates which impact service delivery.

Location: Burlington (2-3 days/week onsite)

Duration: 9 Months to Start

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consulting on continuous improvement across various departments or business units to identify opportunities for optimization and transformation.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline and optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall business efficiency.
  • Lead change management initiatives using the PROSCI methodology to ensure smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in during transformations.
  • Facilitate end-to-end process improvement though conducting reviews, leading workshops, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
  • Develop and execute project plans to implement business process changes, utilizing tools such as RACI charts and process mapping to ensure successful outcomes.

Must Have Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification: Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Process Improvement, applying systems thinking to identify and resolve inefficiencies
  • Stakeholder Management expertise, engaging with stakeholders, lead workshops, assess the impact of changes, and manage the design and implementation

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous experience in municipal/government services
