Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Pay and Compare ECP Module Functional Co-Lead (10+ years) to support an ERP transformation project for a municipal client (Remote).
Responsibilities
- Support the integrated testing process (developing and maintaining test scripts and scenarios) to discover and mitigate errors and issues impacting pay
- Provide business payroll expertise and strong leadership to ensure payroll accuracy on go-live
- Develop a deep understanding of the payroll and related human resources processes across the organization and the interconnectedness of these processes with the existing systems
- Collaborate with the Open City and Technology Branch and the Enterprise Commons Centre of Excellence to ensure that the payroll solution is supportable and integrates corporately
- Coordinate with working groups for the payroll function system implementation for design configuration and implementation
- Perform project management activities for the payroll compare function of the project
- Support the City’s payroll team post-go-live on issues and challenges
- Support the Identification of known differences
- Support the successful implementation of the Payroll Compare plan
- Guide the project team on the successful use of the payroll compare tool
- Co-lead the successful execution of pay compare
- Support the exploration of discrepancies between legacy system and new system
- Intricate knowledge of the ECP Configuration (how it works with EC and WFS)
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed payroll subject matter
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership
- Project management knowledge
- The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple groups, projects, and situations
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze issues to make decisions, recommend viable and effective solutions and summarize and manage information
- Ability to interpret business requirements/issues and provide go-forward recommendations
Must Have
- 10+ years as an SAP Functional Consultant
- SAP Pay and Compare ECP Module
- Experience and/or accreditation related to Payroll management and processing for large, unionized environment
- Payroll system configuration; building and delivering payroll process/service delivery design
- Strong understanding or accreditation in Project Management and Canadian Payroll Processing Methodology
- Deep understanding of HR business functions and processes as they relate to payroll
- Certificate or Degree in a related field
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding of SAP payroll an asset
- IT system integration experience an asset
- Experience with and knowledge of key integration points between SAP SuccessFactors modules an asset
