WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

  • The purpose of this role is to lead the technology development initiatives required to maintain and enhance the IT Systems required to support the Global Loans Administration and Agency groups of Capital Markets.

  • The impact of this role is to maintain an adequately functioning (in terms of process support, IT Risk/Audit/regulatory compliance), user accepted, cost efficient technology platform.

  • This role will work collaboratively with vendors and managing front to back functions to ensure projects objectives are achieved.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Delivery:

  • Responsible for design, development, and implementation of key parts of the Business & Client Services Technology platform.

  • Lead the delivery team in the maintenance and enhancements critical BCS applications.

  • Accomplish this by teamwork, having a can-do mindset with a hands-on approach and focus on details.

  • Responsible for ensuring the Core Loans platforms meet all internal and external Audit/Regulatory/Compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with key operations partners to define and prioritize deliveries.

  • Liase with IT partners across the organization to both in support of operations deliverables, and to ensure delivery/compliance on GTI/IT Risk initiatives.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • 7+ years of banking industry experience with product experience within Corporate/Commercial Lending domain.

  • Experience leading cross functional team in delivering a multiyear transformational program.

  • Extensive experience designing and building mission critical software applications.

  • Experience leading teams to develop highly complex and concurrent applications.

  • Ability to contribute and work well in a team setting.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals with a demonstrated ability to develop software components.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proven people management skills.

  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.

  • Technology delivery background.
