The manager on the team will lead one or more strategic projects concurrently related to business transformation, cost leadership, shared services enablement, and change management. The manager will provide guidance and quality checks for senior consultants and analysts on the team. The manager must be able to both structure and review work for team members, as well as jump in to help with deliverable creation when necessary. A collaborative, team-driven leadership style is a must for a successful manager and is comfort working with a globally diverse and dispersed team. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead elements of large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders and facilitate Global Transformation and Innovation discussions with senior leaders
- Manage resources, deliverable quality, and completeness
- Coach and mentor junior resources to increase collective team impact
- Educate clients on the latest innovation trends and implications for their business
- Bring an innovative mindset to help clients achieve their strategic goals and ambitions
- Design actionable strategies and roadmaps that clients can utilize to deliver business value
- Support junior resources as they develop financial models depicting both the financial obligation and future value of future technology implementations
- Manage teams in developing business strategies, designing and implementing solutions to deliver value in an agile way
- Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies
- Interact with program leadership, governance, and change enablement teams.
- Design and facilitate client workshops
- Contribute to the success of the team by ensuring work quality of the highest level
The Transformation team is responsible for identifying innovations internally and externally and applying them to Deloitte’s global transformation strategy. The team manages related strategic projects coordinating heavily with global functional and technical teams. The team reports to the Chief Transformation Officer and has frequent exposure to the CIO, COO and other senior leaders across Deloitte. The team accelerates transformation through innovative change across DTTL and Member Firms enabled by globally integrated, consistent and transparent business processes, investment frameworks, and program leadership.
Do you possess the following?:
Education: Outstanding academic background: undergraduate degree with rigorous analytical and quantitative focus. MBA or other relevant Masters degree preferred.
Years of Experience: 8-12years. At least 4yearsexperience from a top tier strategy consulting firm, large Corporate or $1B+ private enterprise.
Technical Skills
- High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment that requires solving complex, open-ended issues with incomplete data and little direction
- Ability to synthesize large sets of data and integrate into meaningful reports and recommendations
- Knowledge of corporate development, strategy development, competitive strategy and scenario planning
- Strong quantitative skills
- Outstanding research and presentation skills
- Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required
- Other Qualifications
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
