About Our Client:
This boutique firm focuses entirely on tax planning and compliance for US/Canadian cross border individual clients and their families. The firm is very well established and have exceptionally close and long-standing relationships with their clients.

About The Opportunity:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of US and Canadian tax compliance for a range of clientele. You will work directly with your clients and foster strong relationships so that you can anticipate their changing needs. You will also assist with planning work, taking on more complex files as you progress with the firm and assist junior and other senior accountants.

• 90% individual tax returns, 50% CDN, 50% US
• Dealing with high-net-worth US citizens living in Canada
• Estates trust work
• Review, Planning and Research of US and Cross Border tax
• Corresponding with CRA and IRS
• Working directly with clients
• Assisting and mentoring a team of dedicated accountants

The Requirements:

• Experience in US tax
• Previous experience in public practice
• 2-3 years cross border experience
• Experience with personal tax returns

Compensation:

• Salary: $75,000 - $110,000
• Extended medical coverage
• Three weeks vacation
• Paid overtime
• Extended medical and dental coverage
